Healthcare Bill????

What you are about to find out will both amaze and shock many who read this. I write this with great concern in what may be the most monstrous pending issue in our nation today, Healthcare Reform.
There is no doubt that it is difficult to obtain certain information from the National Government about the imminent healthcare bill that is now being conditioned in Congress. Most recently, CNS News asked Speaker of the House Pelosi, “Where does the Constitution grant Congress the authority to enact an individual health insurance mandate?” She answered, “Are you serious? Are you serious?” CNS responded, “Yes, yes I am.” After the incident, Pelosi’s secretary went on record stating, “That is not a serious question.” So I ask you, the people, how is asking for constitution clarification not a serious question?
Congress is not used to answering crucial questions concerning their authority because, frankly, not many Americans bother to ask. Suck as, what exactly is the healthcare bill, or as some may call it Obomacare? Pretty much Obomacare is free Medicare for everyone. Sounds great, right? However, our current Medicare/Social Security deficit is approximately 100 TRILLION dollars, yes that is trillion. This is not including our escalating national debt of 12 trillion dollars. Free Medicare is obviously not going to agree with our current financial problem. Also, since when is free really free? It is not, and it never has been. Not only will this 2.5 trillion dollar healthcare bill make our deficit go through the roof, but our taxes will significantly increase too.
Obama argues that those inconveniences are just a small price to pay for 94% of Americans to be provided healthcare insurance. The truth of the matter is that 87% of Americans already have healthcare insurance. Do the math; it is only a 17% increase. Most Americans don’t know this because they simply do not ask.
On average only about 60% of qualified Americans bother to vote. This implies that 40% of the qualified voters have no idea or don’t care about the politics that are going on around them.
We the people need to be involved, we must care.
We the people should know that in the Senate version of the healthcare bill that if any person were to refuse to get health insurance they would be fined or thrown into jail. Again the question is raised, is this Constitutional?
Is it Constitutional for our government to make a monopoly and destroy any competition for health insurance?
But more than that, we the people should ask the question, is this smart to pass a bill that is crazy similar to the now failing healthcare plan in Massachusetts? The cost of medical insurance in Massachusetts is higher, and the state is going broke. Is it smart to have a parallel healthcare system to Canada where there is a shortage on medical treatment and it practically has to be rationed because there are not enough doctors to compare to their citizens? Is it smart to pass a bill that will extremely cut costs in important places; such as, hospitals, Medicare Advantage, nursing homes, home health, hospice, drug research? Is it smart for Obama’s budget this year to be 1.6 trillion dollars? I thought we were trying to pay off some of the nation’s debt? Is it smart to pass a bill that will make doctor pay significantly decrease? Is it smart to pass a bill that many doctors don’t agree with, and they have stated that if the healthcare bill is passed that they will retire or quit their jobs? We the people will sacrifice countless things in the name of Obomacare.
We the people must inform ourselves and voice our opinion on this very serious issue.
Democrats say that the American people want this bill.
Then why does The United States Conference of Bishops, The National Rights to Life, the former leader of the democratic party, The National Association of Manufactures, and endless others reject the healthcare bill?

Under this bill the state will have to raise 25 billion dollars for this bill to work, the states don’t want this bill. The National Federation of Independent Businesses exclaims, “The healthcare bill fails small businesses.” Labor Unions cry out, “Don’t tax our healthcare benefits!” The Quinnipiac poll shows that 61% of the people don’t want this healthcare bill. We the people don’t want this healthcare bill.
We the people have a voice and we must communicate to the government that we have figured it out.
We the people can solve this problem before it occurs.
We the people must deal with this now and not later.
Virginia has set the example for the people and other states. Their legislation has passed a law that protects the Virginians from being forced to have healthcare.
We the people can tell congress our views; contact your state senator or representatives, and let them know that we the people will not be forced to do what the people don’t want.
The United States of America is run by the people not Congress, so whether or not the healthcare bill is Constitutional we know that we the people are in charge, no matter what.
Thomas Jefferson once declared, “I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people on the pretense of taking care of them.”
Always remember the opening line of the Declaration of Independence, We the People.
